Jubilee Year 2025 – Ultimate Holy Year – 5 Day Pilgrimage
In anticipation of the opening of the Holy Doors for the Holy Year 2025, this Ultimate Holy Year 5 Day Pilgrimage offers the unforgettable experience of visiting all 7 Pilgrim Churches of Rome which includes Rome’s 4 Major Basilicas PLUS a day-trip to the home of St Francis – Assisi.
Make a pilgrimage to Rome before or during the Jubilee Holy Year of 2025 and visit each of the most important sites, relics and icons in Christendom, all accompanied and guided by our expert devout Catholic guides.
Over five days, pilgrims to Italy will visit:
- all seven of St Philip Neri’s Pilgrim Churches including the four Major Basilicas and the Holy Doors;
- the Holy Steps;
- the Relics of the Passion of Christ;
- the Relics of Saints Peter and Paul;
- the most breathtaking sights of Rome as you journey through the history of religious life and the legacy of St Benedict in Trastevere;
- a St Francis Tour of the stunning city of Assisi – the home of St Francis and St Clare of Assisi.
Our Ultimate Holy Year 5-Day Pilgrim Package is essentially our 4-Day Package with the addition of a day-trip pilgrimage to the birthplace of St Francis of Assisi and of St Clare in Umbria, just under 150 miles north of the capital.
Pilgrims on a budget can travel by train, while the option of a private car and driver is also available. Please note that transport to and from Assisi is not included. In each case the journey takes a little under 2.5 hours each way but of course you are welcome to stay in Assisi after the tour as the pilgrimage will have concluded. Our 5-Day Pilgrim Package usually runs from Tuesday to Saturday (with the Assisi day-trip taking place on the Saturday), but as ever we can tailor private experiences to your requirements.
Let Crucis Tours guide you on the pilgrim experience of a lifetime with our Catholic guides and scholars who understand the faith and the true significance of the many artefacts, relics, icons and sacred locations here in the birthplace of the Church.
For those with mobility problems we can find a workaround for our more difficult walking tours, including our bite-size 1-hour basilica tours and the private car option. Reach out, contact us and let us know what you’d like to do and we’ll do our best to accommodate you here in the Eternal City of Rome.
For those who wish to only do individual Major Basilicas, then we also offer the standalone Holy Door tours of each Major Basilica – the Basilica of St Peter Tour, the Cathedral of St John Lateran Tour, the Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls Tour and the Basilica of St Mary Major Tour.
